Randi Berry (Pixie) is a founding member & co-Artistic Director of Wreckio Ensemble. She was last seen in and co-wrote Wreckio’s production of The Ladies Aide Society Invites You To A Poverty Party To Benefit The Foundation For Ethical Art And Culture. Other Wreckio roles include Day Fantasist-BOB in Me, Myself, I and the Others, various characters in the Based on a True Story series, Mother in Gravediggers, various characters in Wrestling Porcelain which she co-wrote, Myrenie in Lysistrata, Number Four in The Corner which ran in the NY International Fringe Festival at PS 122, various characters in Gint and The Burglar’s Wife in The Virtuous Burglar. Randi has also been seen as Agave in U.R Faust, a movement theater piece performed in Athens, Greece, Wendy in 27 – an original one woman show, Agnes in A Bright Room Called Day, Du in Keely and Du, Paulina in A Winter’s Tale and Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard. Directing credits include Betrayal and My Mother Said I Never Should.
Katie Braden (Broadcaster) thanks the Wreckio ensemble for a great experience! She is a member of the Queens Players in Long Island City where she has performed in numerous productions including Mrs.Warren’s Profession (Mrs.Warren), Edward II (Lancaster), The Spanish Tragedie (Spirit of Revenge) and Knight of the Burning Pestle (Venturewell). Other NY acting credits include: Olive in The Odd Couple (Female Version) (Supporting Cast Productions), A Temporary Lapse (Gallery Players), All Fall Down(Theatre Recrudescence), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Communicable Arts), and The Gut Girls (Wings Theatre).
Mike Bradley (Broadcaster) is excited to be a part of Wreckio Ensemble’s production of Rooftops. He dreams of global travel and world peace. A Florida native and graduate of New World School of the Arts in Miami, Mike keeps himself busy by taking pictures, talking to random people, and always looking for the next big thing. Dechelle Damien (Jackett) is a founding member & co-Artistic Director of Wreckio Ensemble. She was last seen in Wreckio’s production of The Ladies Aide Society Invites You To A Poverty Party To Benefit The Foundation For Ethical Art And Culture and Naked. Other Wreckio roles include various characters in the Based on a True Story series, Gravedigger 1 in Gravediggers, Cecy in Wrestling Porcelain which she co-wrote, Lysistrata in Lysistrata, Number Two in The Corner which ran in the NY International Fringe Festival at PS 122, Oldie Mama in Gint and Anna in The Virtuous Burglar. She wrote & co-directed Me, Myself, I and the Others , October 2007.Other credits include Harriet in Sandwich (2007 Wonderland Festival, nominated for Best Actress), Lyubov in The Cherry Orchard, Isa in Isadora Libre (American Living Room Festival 1999), Gertrude in OverFaust (Florida Dance Festival 1999) Lady Fanciful in The Provok’d Wife, Maggie in Dancing at Lughnasa Smith in Three Penny Opera and Linda/Sammy in storming the kingdom – an original one-woman show. She toured Germany with The Sisters You (2000) and Fat Peggy’s Sober Property at the TAT Depot (2001). Dechelle is a graduate of New World School of the Arts.
Tara Grieco (Musician): After working independently for the Music, Theater, Events, Media and Design Industries, Wreckio Ensemble Members, Tara Grieco (TG) and Dimitra Bixby (DB) formed UNiONEYE (Ui) in October 2006. Ui services a broad variety of production, art and community projetcs. From artist management, to company efficiency, prop fabrication, audio/video recording, or “greening productions; some of Ui’s clients have included: Entertainment Events Inc, College Humor, Comedy Central, HSI Productions, Tara Kuwajima, Unknown Artist, and Agape Early Childhood Learning Center. Other Wreckio credits include: Me, Myself, I and the Others , prop/scenic shop facilities, Based on a True Story, web casting recording, Wrestling Porcelain, sound/lighting desing/stage management, and Gravediggers, sound design, performances of The Phoenix (TG) and The Corpse (DB). Tara also performs her original solo music in the tri-state area under the pseudoname T, and will be coming out with a new CD release this year.
Jessica Kelly (Guard/Musician) is a recent graduate of Boston College, where she appeared in the world premieres of Ashley’s Purpose (Aunt Kim) and The Storykeeper (Sadie) in addition to Stage Door (Mary McClure), Batboy: The Musical (Daisy), Bertolt Brecht’s St. Joan of the Stockyards (Black Straw Hat), Pirates of Penzance and Urinetown (Mrs. Millennium). Rooftops is her New York Theater debut.
Lauren Turner Kiel (Neesey) is excited to be working on another project with Wreckio Ensemble. Now an official company member, she has performed in two other shows with Wreckio, Me, Myself I and the Others (Dorothy) and The Corner (Number 3). Other New York City theater credits include Hang Up (She) with the Potomac Theater Project and Say It’s Raining (Real Ann) at the Strawberry One-Act Festival. Lauren’s favorite regional credits include A Christmas Carol (Fan) at Hartford Stage Company, Mirette (Mirette Understudy) at the Goodspeed Opera House and An Experiment with an Air Pump (Harriet) with PTP at the Olney Theatre. Lauren is a graduate of Middlebury College.
Anna Lamadrid (Mangle) is thrilled to be a part of the premiere of Rooftops. She was recently seen in Eugene’s Got to Eat by Mando Alvarado at the InterArt Annex. She originated the role of Bottle Rockets in the workshop production of Bottle Rockets by Ed Cardona Jr. at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre. She has participated in readings for The Lark, The Fire Dept and Repertorio Espanol. She is also a member in the NYU MFA Playwright Collaboration class taught by Eduardo Machado. Training: Maggie Flanigan Studio and UNC-Chapel Hill. Beth McGregor (Guard/Musician) grew up in Arkansas and came to NYC with a BA in Drama and MA in Education from Stanford University. As a singer she has performed with Talisman A Capella at George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch and has sung back up for Bobbie McFerrin. She is a founding member of the NYC improv group Topanga and has established herself on the stand-up circuit, performing at clubs and events including Comic Strip Live, Comix, Laugh Lounge, and Don’t Tell Mama’s. She’s currently at work with writers from The Colbert Report and Nickelodeon on a web series to debut in February. She is a drama and movement teacher at Collegiate School.
Al Miro (Ahmad Bibomb) has been consistently active in the New York scene since graduating from Circle in the Square Theater Conservatory. He has been seen in Adam of the Apes (Theater for a New City), Henry V (Shakespeare in the Parking lot), Daddy Issues (Phareplay), as Angelo in Measure for Measure, The Cherry Orchard, (Circle in the Square PW). He also played Tony in the longest running show in Vancouver’s history Tony and Tina’s Wedding (Hoarse Raven Theatre). Other favorite regional credits include: Into the Woods, The Seagull, The Actor’s Nightmare (Exit 22). His Film and TV credits include a recurring role on the multi Gemini award (Canadian Emmys) winning series Intelligence (CBC), the off-beat comedy Alice, I Think (Comedy Network), and the independent film Move.
Meret Oppenheim (QB) has performed in New York theaters for the last decade, after conservatory training at the Atlantic Theaer School. Favorite roles include Gavrila in Chekov’s Ivanov, Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate, and Mrs. Pascal in House of Yes. In films Meret is especially proud of her leading role as Lily in the award-winning short film Still(e), and as Jesse in The Christmas Party, another award-winning short.
Mika Porro (Crane) is so exited to be doing this show, with this group, at this time. Some favorite roles include Kathrine in Proof, Mary in The Women and now Crane in Rooftops. She would like to thank her family and friends for endless love. She is a graduate from webster conservatory.
Benjamin Spradley (Mr. Fleet) has collaborated with Wreckio Ensemble since their inception in 2000 when he performed the title role in Gint. His most recent project with Wreckio was on The Ladies Aide Society Invites You To A Poverty Party To Benefit The Foundation For Ethical Art And Culture as a co-writer & performer for their first international tour to Dublin, Ireland. Other proud Wreckio appearances include Random Haphazard-Albert in Me, Myself, I and the Others; The Rep in Gravediggers at the Ontological Hysteric Theater; Naked; Lysistrata; and The Virtuous Burglar. Past favorites include Squealer in the national tour of Animal Farm: The Puppet Musical with Synapse Productions, Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard, Bluntschli in Arms and the Man, Jack in Into the Woods, Bobby in Company, Don in The Philanthropist, Edmund in King Lear, Max in Idols & Others, Bianca in Taming of the Shrew and Markus in his own one-person show Watermarks. Benjamin is a graduate of New World School of the Arts.
