Christopher Bamonte

Christopher is the director and co-creator of Based on a True Story. He has also directed Perry Souchuk’s Happiness Island, at the late night theatre comedy show Tim’s Loft, and occasional works at New Dramatists as a director and stage manager. In January he was the Assistant to the Director for Holderness Theater Company’s production of Twelfth Night. Most of the time he can be seen working with Bill Irwin and Nancy Harrington in the ridiculous romps through the clown realm assisting them in their new show, A Clown Lecture.

Randi Berry

Dimitra Bixby

Dimitra is originally from Sao Paulo Brazil, where she became certified in Architectural, Interior and Graphic Design, and performed with a movement theater company at the Procopio Ferreira Theater. Some of her professional modeling credits include Funkshion 2005 in Miami Beach, FL, and Jacques Janine in Sao Paulo. In addition to being a company member of Wreckio Ensemble since 2003, she played the Corpse in Gravediggers, and was the lighting designer for Wrestling Porcelain at the Ontological Theater as well as Snug Harbor.

Lucrecia Briceno

Lucrecia, Lighting Designer, is a native of Lima, Peru and has been designing in the States since 1997. Recent collaborations include Crime & Punishment directed by Juan Souki; Women of Trachis at the Ohio Theatre; Mike’s Incredible Indian Adventure at the Flea Theatre; Red Herring at the Connelly Theatre; Fay Lindsay Jones, In Delirium and The Northern Quarter at the Vortex Theater; Arabian Nights at the John Jay Theatre; the stage reading of Paul Auster’s Timbuktu at the Baryshnikov Arts Center. Other works include: Queens College Annual Dance Concert; A Long History of Neglect at the Berlind Theatre; Wounded Giant at The Kitchen; Agamemnon at the St. Veronica’s Church; Gravidggers with Wreckio Ensemble; X kills Y and Vice Versa at the Chocolate Factory; Split Wide Open at the SPF Festival; The Playwrights Series at Columbia University, which featured directors Rajendra Ramon Maharaj, Trip Cullman and Jonathan Silverstein. The Medea directed by Jay Scheib (NYC and Turkey productions); Yokastas with Richard Schechner; Unbound with Davis McCallum; Nobody’s Lunch with The Civilians (Associate); her Spring Awakening was a World Stage Design 2005 Finalist (Toronto March 05); Pasion por el Arte (Bogotá, Colombia); The Cure at Troy at the Amaroussion Theatre in Athens, Greece. She has worked as assistant Lighting Designer at Seattle Rep, Glimmerglass Opera, Playwright’s Horizon’s, McCarter Theater, Berkeley Repertory, Signature Theater, Hartford Stage, Women’s Project and others. MFA, Tisch School of Arts. MFA, Tisch School of Arts. Lucrecia will be designing the lights for Wreckio Ensemble’s upcoming production of Me, Myself, I and the Others.

Tara Grieco

Tara Grieco has been a member of Wreckio Ensemble since 2003. After working independently for the Music, Theater, Events, Media and Design Industries, Tara Grieco formed UNiONEYE (Ui) in October 2006w with Dimitra Bixby. Ui services a broad variety of production, art and community projetcs. From artist management, to company efficiency, prop fabrication, audio/video recording, or “greening productions; some of Ui’s clients have included: Entertainment Events Inc, College Humor, Comedy Central, HSI Productions, Tara Kuwajima, Unknown Artist, and Agape Early Childhood Learning Center. Other Wreckio credits include: Rooftops, Me,Myself, I and the Others, prop/scenic shop facilities, Based on a True Story, web casting recording, Wrestling Porcelain, sound/lighting desing/stage management, and Gravediggers, sound design, performances of The Phoenix (TG). Tara also performs her original solo music in the tri-state area under the pseudoname T, and will be coming out with a new CD release this year.

Lauren Turner Kiel

Lauren Turner Kiel was last seen in Wreckio Ensemble’s productions of Rooftops as Neesay Hackle and Naked where she played Number Three in The Corner. Previously she was also seen as Dorothy in Wreckio’s production of Me, Myself, I and the Others last fall. Her favorite previous roles include Fan in A Christmas Carol(Hartford Stage Company), Mirette/understudy in Mirette(Goodspeed Opera House), She in Hang Up!(PTP/Atlantic Stage 2), Maria in An Experiment with an Air Pump(PTP/Olney Theatre). Lauren is a recent graduate from Middlebury College.

Anna Lamadrid

Anna is Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and received her B.A. in Journalism at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She moved to New York City to study with Maggie Flanigan and completed a two-year Meisner certification program. Anna recently originated the role of Mangle in Karly Maurer’s world premiere of Rooftops (Wreckio Ensemble); Greendale GP (Eastwind Theater Company), Eugene’s Got to Eat (Shalimar Productions), Dyke Patrol (New Perspectives), Lucila’s Story (NY Fringe.) and Bottle Rockets (Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre.). Upcoming: Originating the role of Halie in Racheal Holder’s Dead Fish directed by Ed Vasallo. Reading/Workshops with: Public/NYU, INTAR, The Lark, PRTT, Repertorio Español, Cherry Lane and The Fire Dept. Karly Maurer

Benjamin Spradley

Benjamin has collaborated with Wreckio Ensemble since their inception in 2000 when he performed the title role in Gint. His most recent project with Wreckio was as Mr. Fleet in Rooftops and The Ladies Aide Society Invites You To A Poverty Party To Benefit The Foundation For Ethical Art And Culture as a co-writer & performer for their first international tour to Dublin, Ireland. Other proud Wreckio appearances include Random Haphazard-Albert in Me, Myself, I and the Others; The Rep in Gravediggers at the Ontological Hysteric Theater; Naked; Lysistrata; and The Virtuous Burglar. Past favorites include Squealer in the national tour of Animal Farm: The Puppet Musical with Synapse Productions, Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard, Bluntschli in Arms and the Man, Jack in Into the Woods, Bobby in Company, Don in The Philanthropist, Edmund in King Lear, Max in Idols & Others, Bianca in Taming of the Shrew and Markus in his own one-person show Watermarks. Benjamin is a graduate of New World School of the Arts.

Gregg Weiner

Gregg is a founding member of the ensemble and was a part of two of Wreckio’s productions, Gint and Lysistrata. Gregg worked in South Florida for the last three years where he performed in 15 plays, several commercials and a motion picture – Transporter 2. Gregg won a Carbonell award for ensemble work in South Florida and was nominated for several others. Gregg now lives in Los Angeles and is continuing to pursue his career.
