Green Initiative

Back to Main Page

We are committed to generating the set, costume, lighting and marketing materials with a minimum of 80% recycled materials. We are partnering with these green-minded companies in this initiative:

Whole Foods has made a generous donation in order to offset the cost of the edible goods in the production.

Flower girl has generously donated unused flowers for the production. If you are in the neighborhood and plan on buying flowers for someone in Rooftops, please go to Flower Girl who’ve so generously supported our production.

American Forest

Wreckio is asking every audience member to offset the carbon footprint they are creating from watching the show by donating $1 to American Forest’s Plant A Tree Project.

Wreckio printed half of the postcards we normally print and on recycled paper.

Wreckio committed to obtaining materials for set, props and costumes from organizations who recycle like Materials for the Arts and Build It Green NY.

A bicycle generator is used to power several lights in the production. A very special thanks to Felipe Ribeiro and Marc Covitz of Bikejuice who made this possible.
